MILWAUKEE (AP) - Students can get a little extra sleep as a wintry mix of sleet and snow delays the start of school in many districts across Wisconsin.

Prairie du Chien (doo sheen), Wisconsin Dells, Mauston, Portage, Columbus and Mayville schools are among dozens that are opening at 10 a.m. Monday. Mount Horeb has decided close for the day.

The precipitation is making roads slick and is slowing commute times.
