BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Authorities have identified a 13-year-old skateboarder who died after colliding with a large pickup truck in downtown Boise.

The Ada County Coroner in a statement Monday says Brenden Rogers died of blunt force trauma about an hour and half after the collision at about 4 p.m. Saturday. The report lists the manner of death as an accident.

Boise police say Rogers was riding a skateboard on the sidewalk on the east side of 9th Street when he collided with a pickup truck exiting a parking garage.

Police say they are investigating, and that prosecutors will review the findings to determine if any criminal violations occurred.
