GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a car has crashed into a restaurant at an Orange County strip mall, injuring a woman and a 10-year-old girl inside but they’re expected to survive.

Police say the 73-year-old driver was trying to turn onto Garden Grove Boulevard Monday afternoon when her car hit another vehicle and then plowed into a Vietnamese restaurant.

Police say a 37-year-old woman and the 10-year-old girl in the restaurant were taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

The driver was treated at a hospital and released. She wasn’t cited.
