DAKOTA CITY, Neb. (AP) - Attorneys are preparing for closing arguments in the trial of an Iowa man accused of fatally shooting a Nebraska woman.
The Sioux City Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1IvKi5X ) both the prosecution and defense are expected to present closing arguments Tuesday in the trial of 23-year-old Raymond Gonzales Jr.
Gonzales, of Sioux City, is charged with first-degree murder in the December 2013 death of 28-year-old Bonnie Baker in South Sioux City. He also faces a firearms charge.
Jury deliberations are expected to begin later Tuesday.
