GASTONIA, N.C. (AP) - A Gastonia woman has died from injuries suffered in a fire in her home last month.

Multiple media outlets reported that 85-year-old Lillian Maples died at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem earlier this week.

Firefighters pulled the unconscious woman from a window of her home Nov. 25.

Gaston Emergency Medical Services took Maples to Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was then flown to the burn center in Winston-Salem.
