BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A man is facing two felony assault with a weapon charges accusing him of ramming a vehicle driven by his wife that injured her and their 4-year-old son in August.

Robert Wright appeared Monday on the charges in Yellowstone County Justice Court.

The Billings Gazette reports (https://tinyurl.com/phk9j39) the victims required medical treatment.

Authorities say Wright told them he got into an argument with his wife and he followed her before ramming her car. Wright says his brakes slipped and he didn’t go back to investigate because he didn’t think the crash was that bad.
