BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A Mandan man and Mandaree woman have pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges following a drunken driving incident in a vehicle with a 4-year-old child inside.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1ueSpZY ) 26-year-old Samuel Wagon was sentenced Monday to four years suspended probation for misdemeanor charges including driving under the influence with a minor in the vehicle, preventing arrest and possession of marijuana. Thirty-year-old Lacy Wagon was sentenced to nearly six months in jail for misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Police say they were called to a hit-and-run crash Saturday. They found the pair in the vehicle with a beer can in the cup holder and an open bottle in the front seat. Police say they also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

It’s unclear if the child is related to the pair.
