LANCASTER, Ohio (AP) - In a story Dec. 8 about a fatal car crash, The Associated Press erroneously reported the last name of one of the victims. He was Nathan Waller, not Walker.

State Highway Patrol says early morning crash in central Ohio killed 2 19-year-old teens

LANCASTER, Ohio (AP) - The state patrol says it’s investigating an early morning car crash that killed two 19-year-olds.

The patrol’s Lancaster post says the accident happened Sunday at about 3:30 a.m. when Nathan Waller of Lancaster lost control of his car and hit a pole in Greenfield Township.

WBNS-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1yvd9za) that both Waller and Bradley Rhinesmith of Sugar Grove were thrown from the car and that neither teen was wearing a seatbelt.

The station says the teens were taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, where they later died.
