LANCASTER, Ohio (AP) - In a story Dec. 8 about a fatal car crash, The Associated Press erroneously reported the last name of one of the victims. He was Nathan Waller, not Walker.

A corrected version of the story is below:

Patrol says Ohio crash killed 2 19-year-old teens

State Highway Patrol says early morning crash in central Ohio killed 2 19-year-old teens

LANCASTER, Ohio (AP) - The state patrol says it’s investigating an early morning car crash that killed two 19-year-olds.

The patrol’s Lancaster post says the accident happened Sunday at about 3:30 a.m. when Nathan Waller of Lancaster lost control of his car and hit a pole in Greenfield Township.

WBNS-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1yvd9za) that both Waller and Bradley Rhinesmith of Sugar Grove were thrown from the car and that neither teen was wearing a seatbelt.

The station says the teens were taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, where they later died.
