BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (AP) - Anne Arundel County Police have arrested a woman they say laced her husband’s heart pills with bug spray after an argument.

Officers say on Monday evening, a man and his wife argued and he went to a relative’s home for a while. Police say when the man returned to his home, he started to take a pill, but upon opening the bottle, saw pills sticking together and with residue on them.

Authorities say the man also smelled bug spray. Police were called, the woman was arrested, and officers say one of the man’s pills was found in her pocket during the search.

Thirty-nine-year-old Sandra Jeane Skyrczuk has been charged with poisoning, assault and reckless endangerment.
