QUINCY, Ill. (AP) - Quincy University says it plans to make $4 million worth of improvements to its stadium.

The Quincy Herald-Whig reports (https://bit.ly/1yLcBsN ) the improvements the school announced Monday are designed to bring football back to the stadium. Home football games have been played at the Quincy School District’s Flinn Stadium for the past four years. University officials plan to resume home games at QU Stadium in the fall of 2015.

The renovations include installing an artificial turf playing surface on the eastern part of the stadium. Artificial turf will also be installed on the baseball diamond’s infield on the stadium’s west side.

Bleachers, luxury suites and a press box will be added to the football side of the stadium. Plans include new locker rooms, coaches’ offices, meeting rooms and training facilities.
