HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. (AP) - A Havre de Grace woman has been charged with setting fire to her apartment.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office says 55-year-old Kathy Lynn Ingram was arrested Tuesday and charged with arson and malicious burning.

Authorities say Ingram set fire to her kitchen on Dec. 1. Forty-five firefighters battled the blaze, which caused an estimated $60,000 in damage and displaced 11 people.

Officials say Ingram was taken to a hospital for an unrelated medical emergency after she contacted Havre De Grace Police, who were on the scene of the fire. She was arrested after she was released.
