CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - Albemarle County officials are advising motorists to expect road closures and traffic delays during President Barack Obama and French President Francois Hollande’s visit to Monticello.

Obama and Hollande are scheduled to tour Thomas Jefferson’s estate on Monday.

Charlottesville police Lt. Ronnie Roberts tells The Daily Progress (https://bit.ly/1aJZdvu ) that city and county police have been working with White House staff on road closures and delays. He says he can’t elaborate because of security protocol.

Public schools in the county and in Charlottesville will dismiss students early Monday to avoid expected traffic tie-ups.
