PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Authorities in Portland, Ore., say one man is missing and another was taken to a hospital with hypothermia after their kayak overturned in a lake near Sauvie Island.
KGW-TV reports (https://is.gd/8zCIjj ) the men were close to the Gilbert River Boat Ramp when the kayak overturned Friday afternoon. Both tried to swim to shore but only one made it.
Columbia County rescuers and a dive team from Multnomah County are searching for the missing man.
The men were not immediately identified.
