SEABROOK, N.H. (AP) - A funeral home says New Hampshire state Rep. Amy Perkins of Seabrook has died.

Perkins was 43 and had been diagnosed with brain cancer more than a year ago. The Remick & Gendron Funeral Home in Hampton said she died Monday morning.

Perkins was in her third term. She served on the legislative administration committee.

Her husband, Lawrence Perkins, is also a state representative and the deputy fire chief in Seabrook.

Funeral arrangements are still being finalized.
