BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - Vermont police say they’ve charged a 25-year-old with cocaine possession after he dropped a white, powdery substance on a store floor in Brattleboro that tested positive for cocaine.

Police say they responded to reports of white powder dropped by a customer on the floor of Sam’s Outdoor Outfitters on Valentine’s Day. Police say the substance field tested positive for cocaine.

According to a news release, the investigation led police to charge Dannis Santos of Brattleboro with possession of cocaine. It could not be immediately determined if Santos has a lawyer.
