HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) - Davis Love III is returning to the RBC Heritage.

Love is among several players who committed to the tournament.

The five-time champion at Harbour Town Golf Links had played 26 straight years before missing the last two events because of injuries. He had a cracked rib in 2012 and withdrew last year while he recovered from spinal-fusion surgery.

Love has won the RBC Heritage in 1987, 1991, 1992, 1998 and 2003. He has earned more than $2.6 million playing Harbour Town.

Also in the field for the tournament beginning April 17 are 2009 champion Brian Gay, two-time RBC Heritage winners Stewart Cink and Boo Weekley, and 2013 champion Graeme McDowell.
