Applications now accepted for new UAS dorms

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - Student applications are now being accepted for new freshman dorms at the University of Alaska Southeast.

KINY (https://is.gd/sKl6EF) says the application period began Monday.

The first 60 beds are expected to be available by July, with another 60 available in mid-August.

The new facility is expected to open for the fall 2014 semester.
