NORTH CONWAY, N.H. (AP) - In a story Feb. 3 about the identification of remains discovered in North Conway, The Associated Press misstated the radio station that was the source of the information. It was WMWV-FM, not WMMV-FM.

A corrected version of the story is below:

Remains those of N. Conway man missing since 2006

NH authorities confirm remains found in fall those of North Conway man missing since 2006

NORTH CONWAY, N.H. (AP) - Authorities in New Hampshire say human remains found during the search for a missing teenager in October are those of a North Conway man who disappeared in 2006.

DNA testing shows remains found near Cranmore Mountain during the still unresolved search for missing teenager Abigail Hernandez are those of 60-year-old John Sweeney.

WMWV-FM quotes law enforcement officials as saying Sweeney’s family has been notified of the identification.

Authorities say there’s no suspicion of foul play in Sweeney’s death.
