NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Titans have hired Todd Toriscelli as their director of sports medicine.

Toriscelli has spent the last 17 years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He worked as the Bucs’ director of sports medicine and performance the last four seasons after holding the title of head athletic trainer for 13 years.

Titans general manager Ruston Webster said Friday in a release announcing the move that, “I have known Todd for nearly 20 years and have a great deal of respect for the work he has done through the years.”

Before joining the Buccaneers in 1997, Toriscelli spent seven years as a college athletic trainer with Stanford, Miami and Kansas State.
