TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (AP) - Police in coastal Georgia say they’re investigating the deaths of several headless animals that were found on a Tybee Island beach.

Authorities say the headless bodies of a goat and four chickens were found on the beach last week and were removed by the Department of Public Works.

Mayor Jason Buelterman told the Savannah Morning News (https://bit.ly/1eClTe6 ) city officials are doing everything in their power to find the person responsible for the carcasses.

Tipsters are asked to call Tybee Island police at 912-786-5600.
