PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - Pascagoula leaders are looking to expand its recreation facilities and amenities, but how they do that is still in question.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/KinGvs ) the city council met Tuesday with members of the recreation commission, which presented its list of priorities.

Al Brimm, a member of the commission, said the top projects are the construction of a new sports complex, a performing arts/community center and a natatorium for swim meets.

The council wants to determine through a feasibility study if the city could support such projects. Parks department director Darcie Crew said such a study could take up to three months.
