AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a medical issue may have led to a crash that killed an 85-year-old woman in suburban Buffalo.

Amherst Police Capt. Patrick McKenna tells local media outlets that Alice Schaefer was driving her 2007 Toyota sedan on Sunrise Boulevard in Amherst around 4 p.m. Sunday when she veered off the road and hit a tree.
