BRIDGETON, Mo. (AP) - A Marine from St. Louis County has been honored for his role in paying final respects to veterans.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/KMd1Jz ) reports that Marine Sgt. Andrew Portell, who is stationed in Bridgeton, was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal earlier this month.
