PAW PAW, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a southwestern Michigan man died as he was snow-blowing his driveway.

The Kalamazoo Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1d4TISP ) that the man was clearing snow outside of his Paw Paw home Sunday afternoon when he collapsed. Michigan State Police officials say he had a prior heart condition and likely died of a heart attack.

Police say a neighbor found the man unconscious and called 911.

Meanwhile, weekend crashes claimed the lives of three people in the state amid winter weather.

In Ottawa County’s Grand Haven Township, a 53-year-old woman lost control of her car and slid into the path of a pickup Saturday evening. Her 55-year-old passenger also died.

A motorist also was killed in a two-vehicle crash on icy roads Sunday morning on Detroit’s east side.
