JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Ice and snow are slowing down the JATRAN bus system in the state capital.

System manager Elvin Tobin tells The Clarion-Ledger (https://on.thec-l.com/MpT6C7 ) that buses are running, but on what’s called a “safe schedule” because of the weather.

Passengers, he says, should expect delays because drivers are behind schedule.

Buses are being detoured on some streets, he says.
