WAITE PARK, Minn. (AP) - Police in the St. Cloud area say an officer found a stash of U.S. mail taken from at least five communities after pulling over a suspected drunken driver.

Waite Park police say a search after the traffic stop last week turned up a significant amount of mail taken from boxes in St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids, Becker, Clear Lake and Clearwater. WJON (https://bit.ly/1ib9rVU ) reports most of the mail was postmarked between Jan. 14-20, but some mail dated back to December.

Authorities say the Waite Park Police Department is the contact if residents think they might be missing mail.
