LACONIA, N.H. (AP) - An annual New Hampshire sled dog race that was scheduled for this weekend has been postponed until Feb. 14-16.

Organizers say the lack of good snow is to blame for postponing the World Championship Sled Dog Derby in Laconia.

Last year’s derby was postponed twice due to a lack of snow and was not held until the start of March.

The unlimited dog race is about 15 miles long and the six-dog race is about six miles long.
