BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Boulder County commissioners have rejected a skydiving company’s application to continue using a Gunbarrel-area farm as a landing zone for parachutists.

Thursday’s decision means that the Boulder Municipal Airport-based Independent Skydive Co. will have to stop using the landing zone. Commissioners say the landing zone is not big enough to ensure parachutists will land on the property.

The Longmont Times-Call reports (https://tinyurl.com/lb3v7nc ) skydiving company owner Jeremy Divan plans to start looking for another landing zone in the near future.
