AMORY, Miss. (AP) - Monroe County authorities say an Amory man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of two people earlier in January.

WTVA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/LiA52S ) that 45-year-old Johnny Justice was arrested on Wednesday.

Investigators say he was booked with two counts of aggravated assault.

The shootings took place in the Bigbee community. Investigators did not identify the victims but say they are recovering.

Justice was taken to the Monroe County jail.

It was not immediately clear whether he has an attorney.
