ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) - St. George police say they nabbed nine men who tried to exchange money for sex.

Authorities say they arrested the Utah men, who ranged in age from 24 to 63, during a prostitution sting on Friday.

Investigators say they placed ads for prostitution online, and then had a female decoy field phone calls from potential customers. The men are accused of discussing payment for sexual acts either by phone or during an in-person meeting.

Police say they arrested the men once they gathered enough evidence that the suspects were trying to cut a deal.

The men face charges of patronizing a prostitute.
