WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - Country music star Travis Tritt is coming to North Dakota’s oil patch.

The Williston Herald (https://bit.ly/1nXFR6x) reports Tritt will play a show at the McKenzie County Fairgrounds in Watford City on August 8.

Tritt has sold more than 25 million albums. He has won two Grammys and three County Music Association awards.

Deadwood, South Dakota band The Flashbacks will open for Tritt.

Watford City is also holding the Best of the West Ribfest on the day of the Tritt concert. The festival will feature ribs, street vendors, live music, a classic car show and activities for children.
