LYNN, Mass. (AP) - A Lynn woman has been convicted of motor vehicle homicide in a crash that killed a young man and seriously injured his twin brother as they walked home from a convenience store.

The Daily Item (https://bit.ly/1iQJVtl ) reports that Angela Okonkwo was convicted Monday in connection with the crash that killed 22-year-old Dillon McManus and seriously injured Riley McManus.

Witnesses said the 38-year-old Okonkwo struck the brothers as they crossed the street toward home in a crosswalk.

She stopped and called 911.

Riley McManus testified his injuries included a broken pelvis and neck and a shattered hip. He said he only gradually regained memory of the events surrounding the incident but does not remember the crash.

Dillon McManus never regained consciousness and was taken off life support a few days later.
