BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The Workforce Development Division at the North Dakota Department of Commerce has a new leader.

Wayde Sick has been named director of the division, overseeing programs and services aimed at enhancing the state’s workforce. He succeeds Beth Zander, who retired earlier this year.

Sick previously was workforce talent and project coordinator for the Workforce Development Division. He also served as director at the Missouri Valley Montessori School in Bismarck. Before that he was deputy director of the Burdick Job Corps Center in Minot. He holds a bachelor’s degree in social science education and a master’s degree in management from Minot State University.
