FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) - Fond du Lac County sheriff’s officials say a second man accused of trying to disarm a deputy has turned himself in.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (https://bit.ly/1oKTol3 ) reports the 22-year-old Eden man surrendered Thursday.

Authorities say the man struck the deputy multiple times and tried to take his service revolver. A 19-year-old rural Campbellsport man was arrested Wednesday for taking the deputy’s stun gun and resisting arrest during an altercation July 5.

The deputy responded to a complaint in the Town of Ashford and said he found the men and a third man involved in drug activity.

The deputy says he tried to use his stun gun on the 22-year-old when he struck him and tried to take his firearm. Officials say the 19-year-old took the stun gun and pointed it at the deputy.
