MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a Morgan County man accused of posing as a woman online to convince boys to send him explicit photos has been charged with possession of child pornography.

Alabama Department of Public Safety Sgt. Steve Jarrett said Thursday that Justin Clay McNeil of Sommerville is being held in the Morgan County jail and may face additional charges.

Jarrett says investigators served a search warrant at McNeil’s house Tuesday and found that he solicited hundreds of underage boys, including 17 in Alabama, for explicit photos that were redistributed online. Jarrett says McNeil used the name April Morgan and a woman’s photo in online conversations with the victims.

It’s unclear if McNeil has an attorney.
