CLAY, Ala. (AP) - Jefferson County sheriff’s officials say they’ve seized 10 electronic gambling machines from a mini storage business in Clay.

Sheriff’s spokesman Randy Christian said in a statement Thursday that the machines were found as the result of an eight-month investigation into reports of illegal gambling taking place at the business on Old Springville Road.

Christian says no one was at the business when investigators arrived on Wednesday. Christian says charges are pending in the case.
