ST. LOUIS (AP) - The familiar domed roofs at Lambert Airport in St. Louis are getting a makeover.

KTVI-TV (https://bit.ly/1mj5wdv ) reports that part of the improvement project at Terminal 1 at Lambert is a $6.7 million replacement of the original copper roof. New copper is replacing the worn roof.

The project involves installing more than 100,000 feet of copper material to cover the airport’s four domes.
