SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - A northern Indiana coroner has confirmed the identity of a body pulled from the St. Joseph River in South Bend as a 25-year-old mother of three young children who was reported missing earlier in the week after falling into the water.

Indiana Conservation Officer Jonathan Boyd said the body was pulled from the river near downtown South Bend about 11:30 a.m. Friday. The St. Joseph County coroner’s office identified the victim as Yolanda Anderson.

Indiana conservation officers were called to the area about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a report Anderson was missing after falling into the river. Crews have been conducting daily searches of the river searching for Anderson.

An autopsy is expected to be conducted next week.
