CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Scott Brown says his campaign raised $2.34 million in the second quarter and has $1.5 million on hand.

Those numbers were updated Friday after the campaign said on Monday he had raised $2 million. It didn’t release cash on hand on Monday.

Brown faces a GOP primary against former state Sen. Jim Rubens and former U.S. Sen. Bob Smith. The winner of the Sept. 9 primary faces Democratic incumbent Jeanne Shaheen.

Shaheen’s campaign raised more than $2.8 million in the last fundraising quarter and had $5.1 million on hand.

Campaign finance reports are due July 15.
