SANTA ROSA, Calif. (AP) - Police are on the lookout for the second suspect in a Northern California jewelry store robbery that turned into a shootout.
Police and witnesses tell the Santa Rosa Press Democrat (https://bit.ly/1q4dbzF) two masked men burst into Bennett Valley Jewelers in Santa Rosa on Thursday afternoon and held an employee at gunpoint.
At some point, someone in the store exchanged gunfire with at least one of the suspects.
Santa Rosa police say an employee suffered non-life-threatening wounds, but one of the suspects was shot in the chest. Police have identified him as 43-year-old Jimmy L.
