PHOENIX (AP) - A Phoenix man who pleaded guilty in a sexual exploitation case involving juveniles has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.

A Maricopa County Superior Court spokesman says Judge Peter Reinstein on Friday also sentenced 28-year-old Christian Salvador Turcios to lifetime probation.

Turcios pleaded guilty in May to attempted molestation of a child, molestation of a child, aggravated assault and attempted sexual exploitation of a minor.

He was jailed in January 2012 on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, child molesting and unlawful surreptitious video recording.

Police searched Turcios’ home in December 2011 and found child pornography images and videos.

According to police, some images showed Turcios engaged in sexual acts with children believed to be between the ages of 13 and 16.
