The Nigerian jihadist group responsible for kidnapping 223 schoolgirls in April issued a new video Saturday mocking the #BringBackOurGirls social media campaign that even U.S. first lady Michelle Obama participated in.

Boko Haram’s video, obtained by the Agence France-Presse, was apparently released to mark the girls’ third month in captivity.

Flanked by at least 10 gunmen in front of two armored vehicles, the group’s leader Abubakar Shekau declared in the 16-minute minute video that the girls would not be freed until the government released the “army” of Boko Haram prisoners detained in Nigeria, The Telegraph reported.

“I trust in Allah. I trust in Allah,” Shekau says in the video in a singsongy voice.

“You have been going around saying, ‘Bring Back Our Girls,’ ” he says in broken English, mockingly, and with a giant smile. “Bring back our army.”

In what appears to be more broken English, Shekau then orders his troops: “Gentlemen! Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill Christians!”

“Bring back our army,” he repeats into the camera.

Boko Haram also claimed responsibility in the video for a bomb in a shopping center in Abuja last month that killed 22 people and for two explosions the same day at a fuel depot in Lagos, The Telegraph reported.

Shekau also expressed support for the Islamic State leader Abubakar Al-Baghdadi, as well as al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri and Taliban leader Mullah Omar. He described them as his “brethren,” saying “May Allah protect you,” The Telegraph reported.

The video reportedly served as a direct snub to Pakistani activist teen Malala Yousafzai, who arrived in the Nigerian capital of Abuja over the weekend to voice support for the #BringBackOurGirls campaign and hold private talks with Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan.
