ROBBINSVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Graham County sheriff’s deputies say three people were hurt in a boiler explosion at a furniture plant in Robbinsville.

Deputies say the explosion occurred around 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Stanley furniture plant.

Officials say the employees were burned by steam. Mission Hospital in Asheville say one man was released Monday afternoon. There was no word on the condition of the other two employees.

WLOS-TV reported (https://bit.ly/1ju8fRI) that the plant was scheduled to close Tuesday.
