SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Police are looking for a woman who stole a charity collection jar for sick and injured children at Sioux Falls gas station.
KSFY-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1qBDdGD ) the theft occurred on Friday at Cubby’s Gas Stop. The container was full of money and intended for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Dakota.
Police and store employees hope surveillance video will help them find the suspected thief.
Store manager Lisa Kistler says a woman walked into to the store, took the counter container full of money and ran off.
Kistler says the money in the plastic pig jar was to help children, some of whom are terminally ill. She says the theft was “about the lowest you can go.”
