EUFAULA, Ala. (AP) - More than 60 members of the Alabama Army National Guard are returning home from duty in Afghanistan.

Members of the 1103rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion are set to arrive at a community center in Eufaula on Wednesday morning.

The troops have been away from home since they deployed for Afghanistan in September 2013.

Members of the unit performed duties including base closures as the United States reduces its presence in Afghanistan.
