WOODLAND PARK, N.J. (AP) - Several young campers were able to safely escape from a school bus that caught fire at a northern New Jersey park.

Fire officials tell The Record (https://bit.ly/1kweHmu) that the blaze apparently started around 9:50 a.m. Wednesday in the left rear inside tire and quickly spread to the inside of the bus, which was destroyed.

At the time, the bus was in the parking lot of Frank D. Zaccaria Memorial Park in Woodland Park.

It wasn’t immediately clear how many children were on the bus at the time. But no injuries were reported.
