ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - The incumbent Democrat running for New York state comptroller reports raising $1.17 million in donations over the past six months, giving him a balance of $2.78 million for the campaign.

Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli reports spending $483,000 for the period. His largest donations are $25,000 each from the Consumer Advocacy Political Action Committee, Nassau County PBA PAC and from 80th Realty LLC in New Hyde Park.

The Republican challenger, Onondaga County Comptroller Robert Antonacci, reports a campaign balance of $75,000 for his statewide race, having raised $88,000 and spent $13,000.

Major donations include $6,000 from Edward Cox of Westhampton Beach, the state Republican Party chairman, and $6,000 each from Paul, Genevieve, Theresa and Frank Suits of Homer and Cortland.

He reports about $30,700 in a separate county campaign fund.
