YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) - In the Arsenal and Cartoon Daddy, each a winner of elimination heats, will lead a field of eight 2-year-old colts in Saturday night’s $125,000 final of the Lawrence B. Sheppard Pace at Yonkers Raceway.

In the Arsenal won the first of last weekend’s $25,000 eliminations and will break from post 2, driven by Eric Goodell.

Cartoon Daddy was a tick faster in his elimination, and will go from the fifth spot, with George Brennan driving.

“He was looking around (in his elimination), the way 2-year-olds tend to, but once I pulled the plugs, he was all business,” Brennan said.

Also entered are Rock N’ Roll World (Pat Lachance), Perfect Bet (Jeff Dauplaise), Mystical Pacer (Brent Holland), Parklane Eagle (Jordan Stratton), Lone Survivor (Brian Sears), and Byby Landon (Jason Bartlett).
