OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma State junior J.W. Walsh and Oklahoma sophomore Trevor Knight have both been named to the watch list for the 2014 Davey O’Brien quarterback award.

The foundation announced the list that includes 39 quarterbacks on Wednesday. The award is presented each year to the player selected as the best college quarterback in the nation.

The list will be cut to 16 semifinalists on Nov. 3 and to three finalists on Nov. 24.

The winner will be announced Dec. 11.
