PRAIRIE GROVE, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a woman was struck and killed while jogging along the side of a highway in northwest Arkansas.

The Prairie Grove Police Department says the collision happened Tuesday morning along U.S. 62. According to police, 46-year-old Deborah Hildebrand was killed upon impact when she was struck by an oncoming Jeep Cherokee.

Authorities say the driver of the Jeep was taken to the Washington County jail on suspicion of negligent homicide, reckless driving and driving right of roadway. Police say investigators are still awaiting toxicology results in the case.
